Creative At Home Maternity Photoshoot

I adored everything about this at home maternity session: capturing the thoughtful details of their stunning East Bay home, the way mama’s golden dress reflected the light at every angle, hanging out with super kind folks, and even spotting a mama and baby deer trot through the yard.

I found out during my visit that ALL the paintings were actually created by Melissa herself! She’s a local artist who creates installations all over the Bay Area. Khoi suggested we step into her studio for some photos and I’m so glad we did. I just love the way the photos in front of her paintings turned out. What a treat it was to photograph another creative soul!

Art is beautiful, motherhood is beautiful, art + motherhood together is just magic.
