Young Soul Photography offers a mix of posed and candid maternity photography. Photos can be taken outdoors at a location of your choice or taken in the comfort of your own home. Wan-Lin and her family love visiting the redwoods as a family so it was perfect that she chose the Los Altos redwoods for a majestic background for her Bay Area maternity photoshoot.

Maternity Photoshoot at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley

Get yourself someone who looks at you the way that Anna and Jessa look at each other. I was so in love while shooting and editing this sweet maternity photoshoot. Ugh, it was all so beautiful. Their sweet love, their fluffy cloud doggies, and Anna’s baby bump. Just swoon. Icing on the cake was the sunset water views of the San Francisco skyline at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley, their favorite place to walk their pups Puffin and PomPom. And in not too long, it will be the same place where they’ll spend afternoon strolling with their future son.

What I love about my job is that I get to meet amazing people and document the most special time of their lives. I met up with with Mariandré and Noel for their maternity photos at a historical community garden in Fremont and got to capture their last photos as just the two of them.

Berkeley Redwoods Maternity Photoshoot

Oct 2021, they said their forever I do’s in front of their closest friends and family at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens Redwood Grove, an intimate amphitheater surrounded by a majestic canopy of redwoods. There were smiles, tears of joy, and so much love that day.

Feb 2023, I got to photograph them visiting the location for the first time since their wedding. This time to celebrate an amazing milestone… there’s a Dominican Filipino baby on the way!

It is well known that Spring is the season to go to Filoli House and Gardens. But have you been to Filoli in Fall? Fall at Filoli has its own special magic. I spent the afternoon photographing a maternity photoshoot at Filoli and the fall colors on display were spectacular.
