One of the prettiest and most expressive babies I’ve photographed (just look at those cute lips!) she is sure to melt the heart of everyone that meets her.

Baby L did the BIGGEST stretch during our at home newborn photo session and I about died from all the cuteness. Instant serotonin. I loved photographing this handsome tiny fellow with his sweet family. Just a week old Baby was so perfectly relaxed and got a great nap in while big brother played all around him. It was big brother’s idea to line up the cars in a heart shape around baby and it turned out so amazing!

My favorite thing about spring is the bloom of pink cherry blossom trees all over the Bay Area. But however beautiful these pastel trees are, the bloom is so short lived. Baby Nicolás (Nico) came into this world on a Thursday afternoon at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley via natural birth from his amazing mama Trixie. I photographed his first family photos on that Friday when he was barely 24 hours old.
