This is the story of two people in love that made a journey across the sea. Decades ago they left their home country, said goodbye to their loved ones and elders, and traded the familiarity of their beautiful culture to embrace the complete unknown (and let’s face it sometimes unkind) of America. As they started their journey in the refugee camp they dreamed about a better life for their future. And as first generations immigrants to the Bay Area they worked hard to make their dreams come true. And you know what, THEY MADE THAT LIFE A REALITY.
