Piedmont Park Multigenerational Family Photoshoot

In honor of Grandma Nicky’s birthday, this wonderful family gifted her the most precious gift of all: spending time together for a multigenerational family photoshoot. I spent a beautiful March Sunday afternoon photographing their three small families at Piedmont Park, a small and peaceful community park with a Japanese garden, shady green walkways with redwoods, and a large majestic tree with sprawling fallen branches. My goal with every family photoshoot is to capture the love, and this family had so much to show! I especially loved the way that Nicky and Bill looked at each other like they have known each other forever. Nicky’s sons and their partners were so wonderful and sweet to photograph too—I loved capturing their couple photos. But I had the most fun photographing the adorable grandsons who were so funny and energetic—I cracked up when I asked the boys to laugh but they ended up screaming at the top of their lungs.

Thank you sharing your joy with me, I hope these photos are cherished for years to come!
