Get yourself someone who looks at you the way that Anna and Jessa look at each other. I was so in love while shooting and editing this sweet maternity photoshoot. Ugh, it was all so beautiful. Their sweet love, their fluffy cloud doggies, and Anna’s baby bump. Just swoon. Icing on the cake was the sunset water views of the San Francisco skyline at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley, their favorite place to walk their pups Puffin and PomPom. And in not too long, it will be the same place where they’ll spend afternoon strolling with their future son.

Welcome to the world baby Hina. You are going to have the BEST time here with your super sweet parents. There’s a lot to learn about this life and you might feel lost sometimes, but always remember you have your big sister Ayumi to guide you along the way. She’s a whole lot of fun and you’re so lucky you already have a best friend. Always remember, you are so incredibly loved.

What I love about my job is that I get to meet amazing people and document the most special time of their lives. I met up with with Mariandré and Noel for their maternity photos at a historical community garden in Fremont and got to capture their last photos as just the two of them.

I had the best time photographing the Fassler family at their in home newborn lifestyle photoshoot at their Lafayette home. I was greeted by the cutest twin sisters dressed in princess print dresses who were so excited to show off their Moana dolls. Baby brother Adam was mellow but was such a happy little dude relaxing in momma and dad’s arms.

Oct 2021, they said their forever I do’s in front of their closest friends and family at the UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens Redwood Grove, an intimate amphitheater surrounded by a majestic canopy of redwoods. There were smiles, tears of joy, and so much love that day.

Feb 2023, I got to photograph them visiting the location for the first time since their wedding. This time to celebrate an amazing milestone… there’s a Dominican Filipino baby on the way!

It is well known that Spring is the season to go to Filoli House and Gardens. But have you been to Filoli in Fall? Fall at Filoli has its own special magic. I spent the afternoon photographing a maternity photoshoot at Filoli and the fall colors on display were spectacular.

I was honored that they chose me as their photographer to document them visiting their one of their favorite California spots, a gorgeous scenic view nestled in the Redwood City mountains where on a clear day you can watch the sunset set over the ocean and see the golden light transform the peaceful landscape. The scenery is magical indeed, but what makes it even more special is that it is the very place where Malte proposed to Mia.

Enjoy the hour of being connected with your family. Soak the memory of your kids exactly as they are right now, next year they’ll be taller, have more teeth, or even more attitude. So just enjoy the now, because that’s all we’ve got.

The BEST kind of family beach photoshoot session with plenty of golden California sunshine, sandy toes, saltwater drenched clothes, and dreamy Pacific Ocean views. Thank you Tait family for allowing me to tag along your beach adventure!

Doing a beach photoshoot in the Bay Area means it’s almost a guarantee that there will be clouds. Carl the Fog, as us locals affectionately call him, likes to hang out at the coast of course. But as a family photographer, I love me some overcast days. Think of the clouds as a big giant filter in the sky blessing us with even light in all directions.

Baby girl Sonali recently turned one year old and Mama Monisha wanted to celebrate the occasion with a at home smash cake and multi generational family photo session. Grandma and Grandpa’s flower filled backyard was the perfect location for the kiddos to play and for everyone to be at ease.

The vintage Nikon camera Javier brought was a thing of beauty (and I’m not just saying that because I shoot Nikon too) but what was even more beautiful was the family that he has created. Javier and his beautiful partner Adina were so connected and natural with each other, it was super easy to see their love. And together the created one of the CUTEST babies ever! I loved her gorgeous brown eyes and little smile so much!
